Receipts: The Adults’ Table. Last Week, the Weekend, and the Week in Front of You, With Every Number and a Date Next to Each. (Sunday, November 1, 2026)

The paperwork behind Sunday night’s video, on YouTube and TikTok. Recorded Sunday night, November 1, the night the clocks went back, two days before the midterm election and five days before the October jobs report. Every number said on camera is in the tables below with the day it was true and the document it came from. Where a figure comes from a wire, a data vendor or a trade publication rather than the official record, it says so. Where the official record reads differently from what came out of my mouth, that is in the clarifications at the bottom, owned.

Last week. What the Fed did and said

What I saidThe recordSource
Wednesday the Fed left the interest rate right where it was, 3.75 to 4 percent, where it’s been since they raised it in September. The FOMC statement of October 28, 2026: “The Committee decided to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 3-3/4 to 4 percent.” The range was set by the September 16, 2026 statement, which raised it a quarter point.FOMC statement, October 28, 2026; FOMC statement, September 16, 2026
A dozen people voted on it. It went 10 to 2, and the two wanted to raise it again right then and there, six days before an election. The statement was “approved … by a 10 – 2 vote. … Voting against the monetary policy action were Lisa D. Cook and Beth M. Hammack, who preferred to raise the target range for the federal funds rate by 1/4 percentage point at this meeting.” The FOMC has twelve voting members. October 28 to November 3 is six days.FOMC statement, October 28, 2026

The Fed’s own words were, the economy is expanding at a strong pace, and inflation remains elevated, and they’re waiting for more information.Statement text: “Economic activity is expanding at a strong pace.” “Inflation remains elevated. The accumulation of more information will help the Committee determine the policy stance appropriate to ensure a timely return of inflation to the Committee’s 2 percent goal.”FOMC statement, October 28, 2026

Clarifications, owned

  • “Better than 8 and 10” is what came out on camera. Eight in ten is what was meant: the December hike readings ran 82.6 to 86 percent on Wednesday afternoon.
  • “Finished the week at 4.91” is a vendor’s Friday closing quote for the 10-year. The Treasury’s official par yield for October 30 is 4.94. The direction of the week, through 5 on Wednesday and back under it by Friday, is the same on both.
  • “About 20 bucks a month” is the rounded answer. The amortized difference between 7.32 and 7.24 on a 400,000 30-year loan is about 21 dollars a month.
  • “Down 3.29 on the day” for gold is a percentage, as the sentence before it says. The contract settled 3,898.90, down 3.29 percent.
  • “The worst day it’s ever had” for the search engine, “the biggest crypto theft there’s ever been” for the exchange, and “lowest in a year” for gold are each as reported in market coverage, and were said that way on camera. They are not my count.
  • “A fourth tanker hit a mine” is the Iranian Guards’ account as carried by wire coverage over the weekend. It is reported as their claim. The ships-moving line is the Treasury secretary’s statement, also as reported; both can be true, as said on camera.
  • “Seven countries” is the number of OPEC+ members on Sunday’s online meeting, per Reuters sources; OPEC+ as a whole has more members than that.
  • “One of the two who voted to raise rates is scheduled to talk Thursday” rests on a speaker calendar that listed the appearance without a confirmed time. If the time changes, the calendar is the record, not this page.
  • “The private payroll company’s count … at 8:15” rests on market calendars; ADP’s own schedule was not reached when this was recorded.
  • Where the automated transcript of the take differs from the numbers written here (it heard “38 98.90” for 3,898.90 and “8 and 10” for 8 in 10), the meaning is what is written here and the tape is left as spoken.
  • The CME FedWatch page, the BLS and Labor Department schedule pages and several market-data pages are named rather than linked because they refuse automated link checks. Vendor figures are marked as vendor figures throughout; the official records are linked.
  • Nothing on this page, or in the video, is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It is the calendar, who is at the table, and what day they show up.

The daily version of this

Every trading morning the members get the sheet before the bell: the lines the day is built around, dated, before the open. That page is the daily research. The method underneath it is the Core Framework, and both are on the store page. The free account costs an email at the join page. The only inbox I keep up with is the Discord, through the contact page. Every receipt page is on the receipts index.
